The 6th album from Van Halen before they transitioned into Van Hagar. Yeah, they kinda came back in 2012 for A Different Kind of Truth but that was without Michael Anthony. Rolling Stone ranked it as the #81 on its list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980’s. Here at The Daily Gary, we disagree.
Moral of the story: Rolling Stone, as always, can eat shit. This album is insane. Yes, Panama and Hot for Teacher lead the way, but don’t sleep on Top Jimmy and Drop Dead Legs (perfect strip club tune). The videos were great. Sucks that they broke up after this. With that being said, I love Van Hagar too…
